I was born in Istanbul in 1974. After completing my high school education at Tercüman College, I started my education at Istanbul University Çapa Faculty of Dentistry in 1993.
I completed my faculty education in 1998 and graduated. I continued my profession by opening a clinic with my father, Dentist Ateş Sağlat.
In 2003, I left the practice partnership and started to work at Avcılar Hospital which is in Istanbul. I contributed to the establishment of the Dental Polyclinic of the hospital. During my duty here, I gave conferences on oral and dental health to the public while practicing my profession, especially focusing on community oral and dental health. I contributed to the efforts to raise awareness of oral and dental health in the community by conducting adult health screenings, young age health screenings and disabled patient health screenings.
For the treatment solutions of disabled patients, I tried to eliminate the difficulties of these special patients and their families by intervening under general anesthesia. By emphasizing the importance of oral and dental health in pregnant women, I helped pregnant patients to be aware of this issue by adding conferences on dental health to the pregnant education programs in the hospital.
In the Dental Polyclinic of the hospital, I ensured that all kinds of dental treatment needs of the patients were solved under the same roof, especially by creating a staff of Specialist Dentists. I left the hospital for nine years in February 2012 and established my own clinic in Avcılar, Istanbul.
Between 2015-2017, I worked as a lecturer at Gelişim University, where I taught Oral and Dental Health Technician students how to work with Dentists by teaching the course called Clinical Working Methods both in the laboratory environment and in the classroom environment.
After 29 years of professional experience in Istanbul, including faculty, I decided to close my clinic of 11 years and settle in Bodrum. I moved my home and clinic to Bodrum and started to serve the people of this beautiful district.
I am married and have one child.
